Hand wash gently, dry promptly, and never soak or put solid wood in a dishwasher. Recondition when the wood looks dry. Can be used for slicing or chopping, but marks will show.
Grain and color vary naturally. I keep a variety of warm colored woods from light to dark readily available for serving trays. Live-edge slabs also vary in outline shape, and exact dimensions.
These are primarily presentation pieces for hosting and showing the character of hardwoods, not replacements for a heavy-duty chopping block

Handmade wood is a wonderful gift for someone who enjoys entertaining or appreciates natural materials. A few things are worth knowing up front.
Looking for something meant for chopping? You may prefer a heavier duty end-grain cutting board.

No two tree slabs are ever quite alike, and that's what makes working with live-edge wood so special. Rather than cutting away its natural character, our live-edge serving trays embrace the flowing contours, beautiful grain patterns, and distinctive features that make each piece unique.
Each tray is individually shaped, sanded, and finished by hand with a flowing handle. Careful attention is given to preserving the natural beauty of the original tree it came from.
Whether used for serving appetizers, displaying a charcuterie spread, or simply adding a beautiful natural element to your home, these pieces are designed to be both functional and beautiful.

LIVE EDGE FEET:
For a more elevated presentation, select handcrafted live edge feet that raise the tray slightly off the surface below. This optional upgrade adds sculptural character and gives the piece a distinctive display presence.

Gently rounded edges, and your choice of sculpted handle style (no handle also available) create a beautiful balance of craftsmanship and everyday functionality.
For a little extra personality, optional exotic and tropical hardwood accents introduce rich colors and striking contrast throughout the board.

HANDLE STYLES INCLUDED
Choose between a traditional paddle handle with a convenient hanging opening or a contemporary dual-handle design with sculpted cutouts on either end. Both are shaped and finished by hand for a comfortable grip and a distinctive look. You may also opt for no-handles!
EXOTIC & TROPICAL HARDWOOD ACCENTS +$75

Increase confidence in daily use with rubber feet that firmly plant on a countertop. The raised height of the board also allows for airflow which means the board will dry more evenly and stay flat.
